Founded in 1973 by Howard Evans, H.F. Evans and Son started as a welding and blacksmith shop, also providing agricultural machinery repairs.
Howard's son Keith completed apprenticeship training with Burgess, working at Kuhn Farm Machinery, before joining Howard as a partner in the family business in 2006.
Gaining further industry experience during a year working with agricultural machinery in New Zealand, Keith returned to the UK in 2008, steering the business towards specialising in repairs, maintenance and second hand sales of diet feeders, significantly growing the customer base.

The business has continued to grow, employing two additional full time and one apprentice Agricultural Engineers (Tom, Joe & Isaac), giving the team over 85 years' combined experience in the agricultural machinery repairs sector.

In 2017, Keith, his wife Sophie and children Freddie and Ruby moved to the main business base, with Howard and his wife Trish living just a couple of miles away - still having day-to-day involvement in the business.

Freddie loves helping Dad and looking at the various machines that come to the yard, Ruby enjoys a trip out in the van, especially when there are sweets in the glovebox!

As well as having a workshop at the main base, there are three vehicles kitted out for mobile repairs - allowing the team to all spend time out on farms covering Shropshire, Herefordshire, Powys, Staffordshire, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and up into Cheshire.

In 2022 the business took the big step of offering new machinery and is the only UK importer of Euromilk machinery.
